What the world sends, and why
This is the world's own statement, from the About & data page of the Warden's menu (hold the right stick up, or press M).
What is sent, and why
While the beta runs, once you accept with the welcome panel's button, the game sends the creator:
- your VRChat name;
- your progress in this game, such as level, clears, ascents, runs and earnings;
- counts such as the land a run used;
- what the game sees of your play in other players' runs.
They are used to improve the game and to find cheating.
Records of your play
With them go records of your own play:
- each run: its difficulty, your power at the start and what you had unlocked yourself, the power of the others in it, how it ended and what downed you;
- your checkpoint choices;
- the weapons, gear and boons you used;
- what you spent and what the Starforge gave you;
- how your visits ended, and any Supporter bonus your runs paid;
- your milestones and your first steps here.
When the server is busy, some of these details come from only part of the players.
Kept, and deleted
Never a player ID or your address.
Your name is kept until twelve months after your last visit, and records of your play for 180 days.
Once you stop playing, ask on the Starlight Wardens Discord to have them deleted; playing again sends them again.
Nothing is sent if your VRChat does not allow untrusted URLs (a setting of VRChat's own).
The welcome panel
Your VRChat name and analytics (your progress and play in this game) are sent to the creator, to improve the game and to find cheating; for that, also what the game sees of your play in other players' runs. Pressing the button below accepts this.
Having your data deleted
Once you stop playing, ask on the Starlight Wardens Discord to have your name and the records of your play deleted. Playing again sends them again.
This site
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other servers. It remembers only your choice to close the language note, in your own browser.
